ATHENA Welcomes New Board Members

ATHENA International is excited to welcome two new board members. We look forward to the new perspectives and contributions they will bring to the board while we work to bring a balanced voice in leadership. 

Meet Bob Hoffman

One of our newest board members is Communications Professional, Bob Hoffman. Bob is from East Lansing, MI where he works as an independent Marketing and Communications Consultant. Prior to this work, he spent many years working at local Lansing media outlets like WLNS TV 6 and WSYM TV 47 in various roles like: Anchor, Reporter and Producer. Outside of work, Bob is also a lifelong philanthropist. He has volunteered on many committees and boards such as: the Capital Area Humane Society and the Brain Injury Association of Michigan as well as founding the non-profit: ePIFanyNow Ô. Bob has also been awarded several community service award including: the Red Ribbon Hero Award from Lansing Area Aids Network in 2013 and the Community Service Award from the Lansing Chamber of Commerce in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2011. We are very lucky to have Bob’s experience and passion for community service on our ATHENA International Board of Directors.

Meet Dr. Holly Rougeaux

Dr. Holly Rougeaux has joined the ATHENA International board of directors recently. Dr. Rougeaux is from Creekside, Pennsylvania where she gained her Doctor of Education in Administration and Leadership Studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Rougeaux has many years of experience in education ranging from beginning her career as an Adult Computer Instructor to now working as an Assistant Superintendent. Among her accomplishments in education, Dr. Rougeaux also wrote her dissertation examining ATHENA women leaders and their attributes, behaviors and leadership styles. Dr. Rougeaux was also an ATHENA Leadership Award Recipient in Indiana County in 2016. Dr. Rougeaux is bringing her many years of experience and knowledge specifically in leadership studies to the ATHENA International Board and we couldn’t be more grateful.
