Igniting Potential in the Next Generation of Leaders through Empathy-Based and Inward-Focused Learning
Program Overview
Empowering middle school students to cultivate essential leadership skills through social, emotional, and cognitive learning and people skill development is crucial to our collective future. Based on ATHENA’s Eight Principles of Enlightened Leadership, the program equips students with these essential skills through a series of virtual sessions led by certified facilitators.
Discovering ATHENA creates a supportive environment for networking, discussions, and activities aimed at personal growth and development. Facilitators and guest speakers inspire students to live empowered and authentic lives, as well as apply their newfound skills within their school, club, or community.
The Discovering ATHENA program serves as a stepping stone to the High School Leadership Program (Becoming ATHENA), facilitating progression towards college and workforce readiness.
