ATHENA International Launches Speakers Bureau Speakers
Bureau Focuses on Women and Leadership Topics
CHICAGO, IL (July 21,
2009) -- The ATHENA International Speakers Bureau introduces a speakers bureau to
provide presentations on a variety of leadership and women’s topics by offering
dynamic, professional speakers for events, conferences, and trade shows. ATHENA
International is an organization recognized worldwide as supporting, developing
and honoring women in leadership.
"We created the ATHENA International Leadership Speakers Bureau to
promote an understanding and
appreciation of what women bring to leadership, to help to develop women leaders and to provide organizations, business
and government with a variety of a professional speakers for their events," said Norma Rist, Chair of the ATHENA International board
of directors. “Our speakers bureau features
experts, scholars and other professional women leaders from around the world
who are members of the ATHENA International Board of Directors.”
Each one of the speakers is an accomplished speaker with professional career
expertise and has a strong interest in helping to inspire other women to reach
their full leadership potential. The bureau professionals offer topics that include
women in leadership, women in business, the ATHENA Leadership Model, leadership
training workshops and other key presentations. They are available to provide keynote
presentations, serve on a panel discussion as a participant or lead a workshop on
leadership.
While
most of the members of the ATHENA International Speakers Bureau are from across
the US,
many of the speakers are willing to travel in order to present a keynote speech
or leadership workshops. The individual ATHENA International speakers have
spoken around the world in Bermuda, Brussels, Canada, China,
Egypt, Germany, Ghana,
Greece, Iceland, India,
Kenya, Mexico, Russia,
South Africa, Swaziland, Ukraine,
United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States.
Many
of the leadership presentations include slide shows, overhead projections, or demonstrations,
depending on the topic. Presenters may also provide support materials including
books, brochures, hand-outs and other ATHENA publications as requested. The talented women leaders are available to
speak at a host of venues, conferences, including local clubs, civic groups,
association conferences, chambers, community organizations, schools, colleges
and universities.
Each
speaker provides her insights, stories and brings her own unique background to
leadership as well as presenting the 8 leadership attributes of ATHENA
International. The speaking honorarium
fees are donated to ATHENA International to support the work of this non-profit
organization. Travel and expenses are
negotiated separately.
