ATHENA International Leadership Summit

The annual ATHENA International Leadership Summit, held each spring in Chicago, provides an intimate forum for established and emerging leaders to enhance their personal and professional leadership development. The summit offers outstanding speakers, informative breakout sessions and terrific networking opportunities for leaders across professional sectors. The emphasis on a holistic approach to leadership, as contained in the ATHENA Leadership Model, makes the summit unique among leadership seminars of its kind.

ATHENAPowerLink  is a business advisory program designed to increase the growth and profitability of women owned businesses. The program “links” participating businesses with a panel of professional advisors for one year to achieve the goals the woman business owner has identified for her business.

On September 18, 2012, and the 3^rd Tuesday of September in subsequent years, communities across ATHENA International’s global footprint will celebrate ATHENA International Women’s Leadership Day.  The premise and core essence of this program will be to connect an established woman leader with an emerging woman leader and equip them with invaluable support, connections and community.

Since the program’s inception in 1982, more than 6,200 exemplary leaders in over 500 communities have received the prestigious ATHENA Leadership Awards in the United States and 7 countries.  Each year over 100,000 individuals gather to celebrate and honor ATHENA Leaders in their community.
